The Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Incumbent General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, had the honour at the head of the delegation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with the Commander of the 11th Brigade of the Security Forces of the United Kingdom Army Brigadier General Justin Stanhouse to attend the training of the Armed Forces in the primary general military training and the training of department commanders and platoon commanders within the multinational training operation “INTERFLEX » in Great Britain.
During the joint briefing, the main issues of the curriculum for different categories of personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were revealed. It is filling and transforming in light of Ukraine’s combat experience in the war for its freedom and independence from Russia.
Next, Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Incumbent General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, shared that he saw a practice session on the basic general military training module for overcoming obstacle course soldiers using combat imitation tools to increase their psychological resilience, which the New Zealand Defence Force instructors and instructors conducted.
The next training element that the delegation and he reviewed was a training session for platoon commanders and units led by British instructors of the 11th British Army Security Forces Brigade, which was focused on the combat assessment by the unit commander.
Methodology and stages of training for junior commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine include classes in leadership, psychological, methodical, fire, technical and tactical training, as well as international humanitarian law. Training is conducted by Ukrainian and British instructors involving foreign samples of weapons and military equipment.
During the direct interaction with the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and contributing countries of the INTERFLEX training operation, educational issues, and exchange of experience in the context of operational compatibility with NATO countries and partners. He also stressed the importance of developing personal leadership qualities of a leader and warrior ethos, which is critical to victory over your opponent on the battlefield.
Separately expressed gratitude for the multidimensional support and assistance of the United Kingdom and all the countries participating in Operation INTERFLEX for raising the necessary capacities and building opportunities for the execution of the tasks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect Ukraine.
