Castries, Saint Lucia: Ernest Hilaire, the deputy prime minister and minister of tourism of Saint Lucia, recently attended the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association’s Chef’s Table Luncheon (SLHTA). The event was hosted by the Sandals Grande Ballroom.

The deputy minister shared information about the scenario on social media. He stated, “Today I attended the Sandals Grande Ballroom Chef’s Table Luncheon hosted by the Saint Lucia Hospitality and Tourism Association (SLHTA).”

The tourism minister also expressed his gratitude and gave a glimpse of the event’s success and benefits.

According to Ernest Hilaire’s update, he got the chance to make a few brief comments about significant turning points in our tourism industry and to sketch out a general idea of where the industry is headed.

He further said that personnel from the Saint Lucia Tourist Authority (SLTA) and the Saint Lucia Air and Seaports Authority attended the luncheon together with representatives from the large and boutique hotel industries (SLASPA).

The above-mentioned agencies also gave presentations on airlift into Saint Lucia, tourism marketing, and the business and investment climate.
The tourism minister continues by expressing his appreciation and pleasure that the country’s tourism business is growing and reaching new heights.

Tourism Minister Hilaire stated, “Our tourism sector is booming, and we will continue to make sure that it becomes a positive sum equation for the benefit of all Saint Lucians.”
