Ontario, Canada: The Municipality of Central Elgin, located in Southwestern Ontario in, Canada, is seeking applicants to join their Civic and Environment Committee (CEC) in Central Elgin and become a catalyst for positive change in the community. 

While highlighting the need to bring advancement and take positive measures to make a civic environment, the Municipality of Central Elgin took to their official social media handle to share about seeking an applicant to their Civic and Environmental Committee (CEC) and become a catalyst for positive change in the community. 

As per the Update, The Municipality of Central Elgin was seeking three applicants for the Civic and Environmental Committee and shared several opportunities one will have. As a CEC member:

  1. Research and promote environmental concerns
  2. Set impactful goals and plan special civic events
  3. Champion energy efficiency options in projects
  4. Shape environmental by-laws and policies
  5. Tackle other important initiatives referred by Council

Further, The Municipality of Central Elgin shared that the Civic and Environment Committee will play a vital role in creating a greener, more sustainable future for Central Elgin by efficiently collaborating with the local businesses, service clubs and conservation clubs.

Furthermore, while urging the community to participate actively to become a CEC in Central Elgin, the Municipality of Central Elgin said, “Ready to make a difference?
