Poznan, Poland: The Non-Government Organisation, CIM Horyzonty’s “3 Dimensions of Connection” project has completed training sessions for adolescent workers. The project participants extended their pleasure and remarked on their experience at the Organisation.
CIM Horyzonty is an Independent Organisation working to initiate support for educational, social and cultural activities and programmes for the Local communities in Poland.
Yesterday (Monday), October 30, 2023, CIM Horyzonty completed its training session. The Project was hosted at the end of June and July 2023. Participants from 8 countries participated in the “3 Dimensions of Connection” Project.
As per the Organisation, This Project improved the quality of work with young people by strengthening the emotional balance of youth workers. It also worked to create better support for the potential of young people.
It not only works to offer the opportunity to focus not only on skills but on attitudes, own resources and caring for one’s well-being.
The training was based on an innovative method developed by the American psychologist Bill Plotkin, the so-called Maps of the human psyche based on nature, drawing from depth psychology and ecopsychology.
Nature was, therefore, an essential part of the learning process. She was not only a collection of props but a guide.
Here’s what the participants themselves said about the Project:
“I feel more present and have more patience with people around me, empathy and willingness to help wherever I can.” ”
“I feel like reborn!” This is an amazing feeling. Re connecting with the parts of me, I forgot existed. ”
“I feel more grounded, confident, and open to go out into the world and others.” ”
“I don’t know if there are words that can express how deeply this project has impacted me.”
“I was in a dark place earlier, and I didn’t know what to expect from this [Project]. I can tell I’m a completely different person after he finishes.”
