British Conservative Party Politician and Member of the Parliament in the United Kingdom for Keighley Constituency, Robbie Moore, expressed his pleasure and supported the Yorkshire Swim Works proposal to transform Thornton Moor Water Treatment Works into an unparalleled outdoor swimming destination in West Yorkshire.

The Yorkshire Swim Works is a local outdoor sports hub that provides the UK’s first naturally filtered outdoor swimming complex. It will bring together swimmers, cyclists, runners, hikers, and everybody in a friendly community-led environment.

while expressing his pleasure and supporting the vision of transforming Yorkshire Swim Works into an unparalleled outdoor swimming destination, the Member of Parliament, Robbie Moore, shared, “This is such an exciting opportunity… The Yorkshire Swim Works proposals to transform Thornton Moor Water Treatment Works into an unparalleled outdoor swimming destination in West Yorkshire have always had my full support.”

Further, MP Robbie Moore shared that transforming Yorkshire Swim Works is a prime opportunity for another fantastic cultural asset in their community, with the project proposing naturally filtered swimming pools, a STEM learning centre, and a space for the local community to engage in outdoor activities – all in the beautiful surrounds of the Worth Valley.

“Attracting tourists and swimmers alike, this project would also provide a boost to our local economy, and there are huge added benefits for health and wellbeing,” he emphasised.

Meanwhile, MP Robbie also shared that Caroline Kindy and the fantastic Yorkshire Swim Works team need help as the land is set to auction.

Furthermore, MP Robbie Moore has also announced that Yorkshire Swim Works is launching the campaign to undertake the execution of the plan and urged the people to raise funds and donate enough money to buy the site for the local community.
