The United States Embassy in Riga, Latvia, is pleasured by the visit of Ambassador Christopher Robinson of the Republic of Latvia with his family to Cesis. They were impressed with the monuments and loved the Latvian Freedom Fighters.

As per the Update, The Ambassador Christopher Robinson of the Republic of Latvia visited Cesis during the City Festival with his wife and two daughters last weekend on Sunday, August 30, 2023. During their visit, they had several experiences. They also visited the Victory Monument, honouring the memory of Latvian and Estonian soldiers who fell in the Latvian Freedom Fights.

The United States Embassy in Riga, Latvia, also felt pleasured by the visit of Ambassador Christopher and his family and thanked them for paying a visit and having an opportunity to get to know the 817-year rich history and culture of the beautiful city of Cesis.

The Embassy also shared some glimpses from their visit and warmly welcomed them via their official social media handle Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Ambassador Robinson travelled with his wife Donka and daughters Hope and Charity to enjoy last weekend’s Cēsis city celebrations. Their visit included a stop at the Victory Monument that celebrates the heroism of Latvian and Estonian soldiers who died in the battles for the freedom of Latvia.

The Embassy thanked the Ambassador and his family for the opportunity to discover the rich history and culture of Cēsis and to celebrate the 817th anniversary of this beautiful city.

Reportedly, Ambassador Christopher Robinson served himself in various positions before becoming the Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia. He has recently been appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs. Before that, Ambassador Robinson also served as s Minister Counselor for Political Affairs at U.S. Embassy in Moscow, Russia.
