The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority in Canada is warmly inviting people to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ska-Nah-Doht Village and Museum, held on Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Longwoods Road Conservation Area.
Reportedly, the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority is the Environmental Conservation Program in Chatham, Canada which aims to protect and serve the Natural environment, resources and forestry.
The Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority, this time to mark and honour the 50th Anniversary of Ska-Nah Doht Village and Museum, is inviting its people to join them this Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 10:00 to 4:00 pm at the Longwoods Road Conservation Area. Admission to Longwoods Road Conservation Area will be FREE for all event visitors.
As per the update, the event includes Drumming and song by the Warrior Womyn Drum Group, followed by remarks by community members involved in the organisation’s early years and local dignitaries at 1:00 pm.
Complimentary corn soup will be served by It’s Not A Pow Wow Until The Wiener Comes Out while supplies last.
As per the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Authority, this celebration will reflect on the last fifty years and the people that have helped build Ska-Nah-Doht Village and Museum over the decades.
Please join us for a day filled with partners and friends, a display of artefacts, archives, and refreshments.
