During a press conference on November 12, 2025, Marc-Antoine Jamet, president of the Champs-Élysées Committee, offered an exclusive preview of what visitors can expect.
“We’re going to move from photos to film,” he announced, emphasizing that each LED on the avenue’s trees will now be individually programmable, reactive, and upgradeable.
This shift marks a departure from traditional static displays. Instead, the 2025 lights will feature subtle motion, synchronized effects, and evolving patterns. According to Jamet, the goal is to bring the avenue to life with a sense of rhythm and animation that reflects the pulse of Paris itself.
One of the main attractions will be a new sound-and-light show titled Stereophonies, presented every thirty minutes along the avenue. Color also plays an essential role in this year’s update. The iconic golden glow seen in previous years will continue, symbolizing warmth and celebration.
However, a striking new twist has been added: at the start of each hour, the lights will shift to a shimmering silver. This moment is timed to echo the hourly sparkle of the Eiffel Tower, creating a luminous dialogue between two of Paris’s most cherished landmarks.
