St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew welcomed Canadian Minister Marci Len and Lilian Chatterjee at the La Cuchina Restaurant on Saturday. The ministers present there had the discussion on various topics which include cooperation and other bilateral relationships.
PM Drew gave brief updates on the meeting and said he was happy to have the diplomats over for breakfast at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort. He said that the gathering got off to a nice start with fruitful conversations.
He described the meeting as “breakfast diplomacy in action” and said that a plethora of expertise and experience was shared.
Senator Isalean Philip joined Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew, who expressed his gratitude for the honor of hosting a bilateral breakfast with Canadian Minister Marci Ien and Lilian Chatterjee from Canada are the Ministers of Women, Gender Affairs and Youth.
In addition, Minister Ien spoke as the distinguished guest speaker at the Prime Minister’s Gala on January 5th. During the conference, topics like enhancing bilateral ties and collaboration were deliberated.
He also described St. Kitts and Nevis’s goal of being a sustainable island state and promised that the administration will strive toward realizing this goal.
On January 5, 2024, at the Marriott Dome, Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew also held the New Year’s Grand Gala. The gala’s objective is to give guests a memorable experience and inspire them to celebrate the joyous occasion with tremendous fervor.
St. Kitts and Nevis recently wrapped up the 52nd Sugar Mas celebration and claimed that the event highlighted legacy and culture. According to PM Drew, the celebration instilled a strong sense of gratitude and pride in the community.
Additionally, he conveyed his appreciation and sense of pride for St. Kitts and Nevis, stating that these occasions demonstrated the depth of the nation’s modern customs and culture.
