On Tuesday, February 28, 2023, Roosevelt Skerrit, the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, posted an update on his official Twitter account in which he expressed gratitude for the support of the US Government. He remarked that the US government worked to improve and protect its Citizenship by Investment Program (CBI).

After attending the event that took place a few days ago in St. Kitts and Nevis, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit outlined that the event’s main focus was on various countries’ citizenship by investment programmes.

MInistter Skerrit highlighted that it was a fruitful and valuable interaction, and they are now in an excellent position to continue solving the problems around the CBI to improve and maintain programmes, he continued, adding that it was a fruitful and valuable interaction.

PM Roosevelt Skerrit attended a meeting with top executives from the US Treasury Department, which controls the Citizenship by Investment Program (CBI).

Also, on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, PM Skerrit participated in a zoom conference with other prime ministers from the Caribbean to discuss CBI programmers from other Caribbean countries.

He discussed the opportunities and difficulties during the meeting and thanked the US Government for their support in strengthening Dominican CBI Program.

In addition, PM Skerrit shared his views on the building plan for a track and field facility in Pointe Ronde, close to Portsmouth. He expressed condolences to Irving Shillingford’s family and friends, a legendary Dominican cricketer who recently passed away on January 26, 2023.

Fortunately, under the direction and significant efforts made by PM Roosevelt Skerrit, the Dominica CBI Programme has been ranked first for the past six years on the CBI index platform. He is still causing serious contributions to boost the country’s Citizenship by Investment Program (CBI).
