St Kitts and Nevis: PM Terrance Drew connected around the world to celebrate World Children’s Day on November 20.

The World Children’s Day was celebrated under the theme “For Every Child, Every Right.”

The day is celebrated to cherish the innocence, joy, and laughter of each child.

Significantly, every year World’s Children Day is celebrated on November 20 since the United Nations General Assembly declared the rights of children on November 20, 1959.

The day is dedicated to recognize the well being and rights of the children.

While extending wishes, the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis said the celebration of the day unveils the magic which children bring into the lives of individuals.

He also added that the day also marks the celebration  for the promise which children hold for the globe, filled with the kindness, passion and never ending possibilities.

The Prime Minister also shared the glimpse on social media in which he met the children.

To this, people even presented their opinion in which they revealed the pleasure of having such a great Prime Minister.

“Prime Minister Sir, Thank you so much. Let the young lions and lioness who gather together touch their Prime Minister so they will grow up telling their story,” one commented.

Probing Ahead, in the country of St Kitts and Nevis, the month of June is observed as the Child Month.

However, on the occasion of World Children’s Day, the country marked the celebrations under the specified theme “ For Every child, Every right.”

And the children are the future of the nation so nurturing and instilling good values will be proven fruitful.

The day marks the remembrance of the rights which children have, marks the need to guide them accordingly which even includes; honesty, confidence and self esteem.
