A shooting outside the Amazura nightclub in Queens, New York City, left at least ten people injured late Wednesday night, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD).

The incident occurred in the Jamaica neighborhood just before 11:20 p.m., prompting a swift response from emergency services.

The injured, who include both adults and minors, were transported to nearby hospitals, including Long Island Jewish Hospital and Cohen’s Children Medical Center.

The NYPD confirmed that none of the injuries are life-threatening, and all victims are expected to recover.

Video footage from the Citizen App captured the chaotic aftermath outside the popular nightclub, known for hosting large-scale events and DJ performances.

Police vehicles and ambulances filled the scene, underscoring the scale of the emergency response. Amazura, a venue with a capacity of up to 4,000 people, was hosting an event at the time, though the circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear.

Authorities have not yet released information about potential suspects or motives, and the investigation is ongoing.

Nationwide Spate of Violence

This shooting comes on the heels of another shocking incident in Las Vegas, where a Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside the Trump International Hotel earlier in the day.

The explosion killed one person and injured seven others, drawing significant attention from federal investigators.

Authorities are examining whether the Las Vegas explosion is linked to a New Year’s Eve attack in New Orleans, where a vehicle deliberately plowed into a crowd, killing at least 15 people.

According to the FBI, both the Las Vegas Cybertruck and the vehicle used in the New Orleans attack were rented from the same car-sharing platform, Turo.

Officials described the New Orleans incident as “an act of terrorism,” revealing that the driver, Shamsud Din Jabbar, carried an ISIS flag and several suspected explosive devices in his vehicle.

Government Response

President Joe Biden addressed the incidents on Thursday, emphasizing the government’s commitment to public safety.

“We’re tracking the explosion of a Cybertruck outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas. Law enforcement is investigating this as well, including whether there’s any possible connection with the attack in New Orleans,” Biden said.

The President assured the public that federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies are working to uncover any links between these events.

“All available resources are being deployed to safeguard the nation,” he added, calling for vigilance and cooperation from citizens during this critical period.

Heightened Concerns

The series of incidents has amplified concerns about public safety in the United States, as local and federal authorities scramble to piece together evidence and assess potential threats.

In Queens, community leaders expressed frustration over the recurring violence, urging for enhanced security measures and resources for neighborhoods at risk.

Meanwhile, the NYPD has increased its presence around Amazura and other nightlife venues in the city, vowing to ensure the safety of residents and visitors.

As investigations continue, law enforcement agencies are appealing to the public for any information that could aid in resolving these cases and preventing future tragedies.
