Australia, Queensland: The Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service Community care centre featured Dr Devang Desai, the Director of Urology at the Toowoomba Hospital, who is currently pursuing PhD in inflammatory urethral strictures through the University of Antwerp in Belgium on Thursday, March 23, 2023.
Urethral stricture involves scarring that narrows the tube that carries urine out of The human body, which also results in causing a variety of medical problems in the urinary tract, such as infection or inflammation.
Dr Desai is not only researching to get the proper cure for the disease but is also working as a researcher of his own. he is also writing various medical textbooks assisting professional training across the region and is the senior advocate working as a mentor for the junior staff engaging in research projects.
According to Dr Desang, “Clinical research is cumbersome but rewarding. It allows us to bridge the gap in clinical knowledge and is particularly rewarding to find innovative solutions where no cure has worked so far.
Research can seem overwhelming, but if we look at it as trying to solve a clinical question to improve our patient outcomes, it makes the work more rewarding.”
Notably, the Darling Downs Hospital and Health Service Community care centre employ more than 5500 hardworking, dedicated, compassionate staff, including full-time, part-time, and casual staff, one of the region’s most prominent staff.
Their workforce comprises excellent clinicians, including doctors, midwives, allied health, administrative staff, maintenance and engineering cleaners, gardeners and cooks.
Everyone on his team plays the most crucial role who are dedicated enough to work hard, even in difficult to difficult situations. These people work very hard and consistently with all their efforts with full enthusiasm and zeal to make people’s lives better and sustainable to make a difference in their communities.
