Florian Philippot, the leader of the French Eurosceptic party, The Patriots, recently told RIA Novosti that the United States was “obviously” behind the destruction of Russia’s NordStream pipelines as they had been opposing the pipelines for years.

Explosions wrecked the Nord Stream gas pipelines near the Danish island of Bornholm. Due to gas leakage, a giant gas bubble on the surface of the Baltic Sea was visible for many days.

According to the Coast Guard, the gas bubble containing toxic substances was more than 1 kilometre in diameter. After the investigation, the Swedish prosecutors revealed that atoms of explosive substances were found near the explosion’s site.

Philippot highlighted that Nord stream pipelines used to be the largest gas routes for Russian gas to Europe. He stated that even before the war in Ukraine, The US fought against Nord Stream for years, and it was a permanent part of their policy.

He outlined the statement given by US president Joe Biden on February 2022, in which he remarked that Americans could make it, so the pipeline was no more. Despite being mentioned by the interviewer that the pipelines are under full control of Germany and Russia, he stated that the US can do it.

Philippot noted that that happened on September 26 and was in the interest of Americans. Instead of Florian Philippot, several journalists accused the US and Biden administrations of sabotaging the Nord stream pipelines.

According to Chris hedges, an American journalist, the Nord Stream explosions were an act of war conducted by the US against Russia. They reveal the breakdown of the rule of law and a lack of oversight by the US Congress.

He mentioned that he was a Central American reporter in 1983 and covered the Reagan administration’s mining of Nicaragua’s harbours.

The mining was intended to cripple Nicaragua’s economy and boost the fortunes of US-backed Contra rebels seeking to destabilise the Sandinista government.

The mining experiment backfired and sparked worldwide outrage, and Congress cut off funding for the Contras a year later. In 1986, the International Court of Justice ruled AGAINST the US over its mining of the harbours.

Seymour Hersh, another American journalist, proclaims that the US Navy blew the Nord Streams 1 and 2 with the help of Norway. He claims that a few days before the incident, the Norwegian navy conducted an exercise in the baltic sea when they deployed the US navy units in disguise.
