Happy New Year 2023 to the people of Saint Lucia from the Saint Lucia Embassy in the Republic of China (Taiwan). The embassy sends its best wishes for a happy and healthy new year to everyone.

The embassy also wanted to express their gratitude for everyone’s support during the previous year as they worked away from home.

As the holidays are still in effect and will last through January 3rd, the Saint Lucian embassy in Taiwan announced that they would resume their services and regular business hours on January 4th.

The embassy wished each islander a “Happy New Year” and anticipated that everyone might start fresh in 2023, putting hazy memories behind them and beginning to make new ones.

They advise people to stick with their decisions, put in a lot of effort, and help their country and family thrive. The embassy also prayed to God for peace to be spread throughout the world and hoped that the year would bring everyone good health and success in Saint Lucia.

The national government of Saint Lucia congratulated the people of Saint Lucia on the occasion of the New Year alongside the Taiwan embassy.

Prime Minister Philip J. Pierre also sent warm wishes to the people of Saint Lucia and individuals worldwide a “Happy New year”.

He said, “I pray that God will grant you your heart’s wishes in accordance with his will as we welcome the new year.

Ernest Hilaire, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investment, Creative Industries, Culture, and Information, also expressed his best wishes for the New Year on January 1st, 2023. He said, “As we head into another New Year, I would really like to wish all Saint Lucians and my constituents of Castries South a prosperous New Year.”
