German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has agreed to send Leopard 2 battle tanks to Ukraine. He said, “We also support Ukraine in defending against Russia’s aggression with arms. Many are concerned that the terrible war is drawing near. I promise: We make every decision with a view to the security of Germany and Europe.

Chancellor Scholz guaranteed that Germany had no threats from Russia due to delivering Leopard-2 tanks to Ukraine to counter Russian aggression. Russia has threatened several European countries for supplying Ukraine with weapons and other military aid.
Ukraine is awaiting the delivery of 112 German-made Leopard tanks, 31 U.S. M1 Abram tanks and 61 PT-91 tanks from Poland. For some time, it seemed impossible that Ukraine would get western tanks, but now, they are looking for F-16s.
There are no fighter jet deliveries to Ukraine, as stated by Scholz and Vice President Joe Biden of the United States. The German Chancellor declared, “There will be no fighter jet deliveries to Ukraine,” during a Parliament debate on the Leopard 2. This stance has not changed in the least and won’t change either.
On the other side, when the West announced it would send Leopard tanks to Ukraine, tensions increased for the Russian Federation. The German Leopard 2 main combat tank weighs around 55 tonnes and is armed with two 7.62 mm machine guns and a 120 mm smoothbore cannon. The tank is operated by a four-person crew consisting of a commander, gunner, loader, and driver.
The United States and its Western partners made sure Ukraine could provide more armoured vehicles, guns, and other supplies to resist Russian aggression in place of Leopard tanks. On the battlefield, Ukrainian forces already hold the upper hand.
It is anticipated that Ukraine will be able to expel Russian violators from their lands with the help of the West. Moreover, Kyiv encouraged its partners in the West to deliver more supplies.
