Adelcia Connor Ferlance, press secretary for the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, accepted an offer to join a media familiarisation tour in India scheduled for March 22–29, 2023, for South America and the Caribbean.

All media professionals from various countries around the world are invited to participate in the Media Familiarization Tour programme of the Government of India.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has welcomed professionals from several regions each month this year to help them promote India’s development strategy and vision for their area.

Media professionals will visit the government ministries, important private businesses, and other historical and cultural landmarks, including the Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, and the National Museum of India, the largest museum in the nation.

Major attention should be paid to the fact that this activity is a component of the ongoing planning for the 18th G20 Summit, which will take place at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

A group of 35 media professionals from Latin America and the Caribbean have also been given a chance to witness the rich and storied culture of the country this month, and it should be specially noted.

The opportunity, however, will not be restricted to this; media professionals from the countries mentioned above will also be able to observe, learn about, and keep up with advancements in important sectors, such as technology, energy, measures to combat climate change, and disaster management.
